Our story

Diana Thompson founded Yorkshire Cake Lab in 2023, after 20 years of mastering the art of patisserie and confectionery.

Over the years, Diana has travelled the UK heading up some of the most prestigious pastry kitchens in Michelin star restaurants. She now creates occasion and celebration cakes and shares her expertise through workshops. And, after having been trained by a worldwide acclaimed cupcake artist, she specialises in bouqcakes, the contemporary new art form of cake decoration.
